The Teacher Self-Service (TSS) Portal has been replaced with a new digital service for teachers and teaching professionals to gain access to their records and services - Access Your Teaching Qualifications (AYTQ). The Teacher Self-Service (TSS) portal is no longer in service.
You can use this service to:
· download your teaching certificates
· check your qualification status
· check your early career teacher induction status
· change the name on your teaching certificates
Before you start
You’ll need to create a DfE Identity account to access your teaching qualifications. You'll use the account to sign-in to this service and other DfE teaching services.

It takes around 24 hours to update an individual’s record following an update from OTSA to the TRA to confirm that an ECT has completed their Induction period. When logged into the facility your induction certificate should be available for you to download upon the right hand-side of the screen. This should appear as a blue hyperlink that states, "Request your Induction certificate".
